Did you know?

Alzheimer’s is the most common cause of dementia, accounting for up to 80 percent of cases.

Understanding Alzheimer's & Dementia

Alzheimer’s & Dementia are progressive neurological conditions that affect memory, thinking, and behavior. These disorders are marked by changes in brain structure, including the buildup of abnormal proteins that disrupt communication between nerve cells. Over time, this leads to a decline in cognitive abilities, making it harder to perform daily tasks and maintain independence. The progression varies for each person, but symptoms typically worsen gradually.

Common triggers include aging, genetics, cardiovascular issues, and chronic inflammation. Managing these conditions involves a combination of medical care, lifestyle adjustments, and supportive therapies. Early recognition of symptoms allows for timely intervention and planning. Ongoing support and education can help individuals and families navigate the challenges of living with cognitive decline.

Symptoms of Alzheimer's & Dementia

Early symptoms of Alzheimer’s & Dementia often include mild forgetfulness, difficulty finding words, and trouble with problem-solving. These changes may be subtle at first, sometimes mistaken for normal aging. As symptoms progress, individuals may become disoriented or struggle to follow conversations. Noticing these patterns can prompt families to seek guidance and support.

With time, memory loss can worsen, leading to confusion about time or place and difficulty recognizing familiar people. Language skills may decline, and judgment may become impaired. Personality shifts, mood changes, and increased agitation are also common. These symptoms can make daily routines more challenging and may require adjustments in care.

In advanced stages, individuals may lose the ability to communicate clearly or perform basic self-care tasks. Complete dependence on caregivers often becomes necessary. Understanding the range of symptoms helps families prepare for evolving needs and seek appropriate resources.

Traditional Treatments

When Alzheimer's & Dementia are diagnosed, conventional treatments focus on slowing progression and managing symptoms. Medications such as cholinesterase inhibitors or memantine may be prescribed to address cognitive changes. Behavioral therapies and environmental modifications can help maintain independence and reduce agitation. Lifestyle interventions, including a brain-healthy diet, regular exercise, and social engagement, are also encouraged.

Supportive care addresses sleep disturbances, mood changes, and caregiver stress. Regular follow-up with healthcare providers ensures that care plans are adjusted as needs evolve. While there is no cure, combining medical, behavioral, and supportive strategies can help optimize quality of life. Early planning and open communication are key to managing the journey.

How IV Therapy May Help

Cognitive decline can be overwhelming, but targeted IV therapies offer a way to support brain health and overall wellness. These therapies deliver nutrients directly into the bloodstream, allowing for optimal absorption and immediate availability to high-demand tissues like the brain. By focusing on antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals, IV therapy may help reduce oxidative stress, support energy metabolism, and promote cellular repair. Sessions are supervised by licensed nurses, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the process.

Our services are designed to complement existing care plans and provide an additional layer of support for those experiencing memory changes or cognitive fatigue. Regular visits may help maintain hydration, support immune defenses, and encourage resilience against age-related decline. We work with individuals and caregivers to create a supportive environment tailored to each person's needs. This approach empowers clients to take proactive steps toward sustaining cognitive health.

Nutrient Support for Cognitive Wellness

Certain IV therapies deliver targeted nutrients that may help support brain function and cognitive clarity. These offerings focus on antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals that play roles in energy metabolism and neuronal health. Regular sessions can be a valuable part of a comprehensive wellness plan.

NAD+

Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD) is a vital coenzyme involved in energy production and DNA repair. Its levels decline with age and stress, affecting cellular function and mental clarity. This therapy delivers NAD+ intravenously for rapid absorption and mitochondrial support. It enhances neurotransmitter synthesis and reduces oxidative damage. The infusion supports cellular resilience and promotes overall vitality. It is designed to complement wellness routines focused on energy and cognitive health. This approach offers targeted metabolic support for improved daily function.

My wife was dehydrated after suffering from the FLU. She didn't want to go to the ER and us end up paying thousands of dollars for the visit and IV if they would even give her one. I found the DripBar on Google and made an appointment for the next morning. We were greeted by Stacy at the front desk and were introduced to our Nurse Pria. She took excellent care of my wife through the whole process and my wife felt better after the IV. 2 days later we came back for another IV because my wife thought she needed more fluids. Once again, we were greeted by Stacy and our Nurse Maryanne. She took excellent care of my wife and was very attentive. The DripBar is a great place.
